Well worth a visit — especially if you want a quiet, cool (air-cond) break from the resort bustle
We virtually had the place to ourselves except for a discreet staff member — exhibits aren’t behind glass, giving a more real feeling.
For a small museum it’s surprisingly impressive — a great way to learn about ancient Egypt without traveling to Cairo
Don’t miss the ‘tomb’ hidden beneath the wooden boats display.
Friendly staff, everything clean (toilets etc.). Good small gift shop inside.
